Michael is currently a full-time soccer coach with the Milwaukee Kickers soccer club.
Originally from London, England. Michael moved to the United States in 1982 to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University on a soccer scholarship.
Michael became a three-time All-American and was drafted to play professional soccer in 1986.
He played professionally for 22 years, the last 15 of which were as team captain of the Milwaukee Wave, winning four championships.
Michael’s career longevity is unrivaled, playing in over 800 games - more than any other player to date.
A legendary striker, Michael scored 768 goals and played indoor soccer until he was 46.
Both his college number and Wave number have been retired.
He is also a member of the Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame as well as the Milwaukee Wave and Fairleigh Dickinson University Hall of Fame.
