  • Michael is currently a full-time soccer coach with the Milwaukee Kickers soccer club.

  • Originally from London, England. Michael moved to the United States in 1982 to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University on a soccer scholarship.

  • Michael became a three-time All-American and was drafted to play professional soccer in 1986.

  • He played professionally for 22 years, the last 15 of which were as team captain of the Milwaukee Wave, winning four championships.

  • Michael’s career longevity is unrivaled, playing in over 800 games - more than any other player to date.

  • A legendary striker, Michael scored 768 goals and played indoor soccer until he was 46.

  • Both his college number and Wave number have been retired.

  • He is also a member of the Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame as well as the Milwaukee Wave and Fairleigh Dickinson University Hall of Fame.
